I agree with much of what you say regarding the affiliate program but my experience of the services of MK Hosting have been very positive so far.

I switched to them after many years with what is now GVO.

I needed the email marketing and autoresponder services and they are actually very very good – a demo is available on the company’s website so you can see exactly what is provided, but the features are certainly up there with the best third party AR’s who charge considerably more.

My contact with the support staff at MK was positive and they rsponded to all my queries very quickly. Once I joined they handled the migration of all my data on a Saturday afternoon and even dealt with the DNS changes on my behalf.

Early days but no complaints so far and I’m happy knowing that they use the Planet’s datacenters in Texas. Uptime 100% for my first week, and load times better than my last host.
